Jerry Basham

Jerry Lee Basham was born in Tell City, IN, graduated from Tell City High School, attended Vincennes University Jasper Center, and graduated from the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Indiana, and holds an Indiana Insurance License for Life and Health Insurance. Jerry is a State Certified MedicoLegal Death Investigator in the State of Indiana, and served as Deputy and Chief Deputy Coroner in Gibson County for 16 years.

Jerry is also active in many community organizations. He is a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Jerry is a member of the Oakland City Kiwanis club, where he has been the President, Vice President and the Treasurer. He is a member of the Petersburg Pacific Lodge #175 of the I.O.O.F. Lodge and is a past District Grand Master there. He has served as a Board Member of Oakland City Columbia Township Public Library.

Jerry is also a member of F. & A.M. Masonic Lodge #467 Oakland City, Oakland City and Community Bussiness Association, serving as President and Board Director, and the Gibson County Community Foundation.
